The act of giving.

From eons back into the ages people, philosophers and the others alike were strong advocates of onething, just onething...’The act of giving’. hmmm....enough scratching your heads, this aint another article going on and on about the donate blah blah, but to have a  deep peep into something we have always known ,always learnt, but never implemented,(ok let us blame it on somebody who apparently failed to teach us properly like everyother of us do).

The act of giving can be associated with anything materialistic or non-materialistic,existent or abstract,in more simple words anything that can be  given. It is to give something from the core of ones heart without expecting anything in return.  Hey,just hold on..Give without any expectations? Does that mean that i’ve rights only to love my girl friend, but not expected to be loved back?  Come on ,everyother soul on this earth ails to be loved. Is that not an expectation?

Well,I’m afraid that is not  the way it is supposed to be. Is it that we love somebody or we love the fact that we should be loved?  Love your xxxxx so much that,he/she is lured into love with you, that is giving without expectation. This very thing reminds of a scene in 3 idiots when Salman Joshi is so freaked about his studies, Amir says “ Go behind excellence Success will automatically follow you,but not the other way round”  .Now,that is giving without expectation.

In more simple words the ac(r)t of giving and the reception that follows is more or less the same thing as “ As you sow,so you reap”  We get whatever we give that is the power of giving,by showing love and compassion ,we enjoy abundance of the same in return.
We might have noticed people blurting out” Give respect and take respect” .In this case we are straight forward enough to tell it out.
